The Planetarium is a cultural facility of the city of Vaulx-en-Velin dedicated to the discovery of astronomy, space exploration and astrophysics. With 90,000 visitors per year, it is the 4th largest planetarium in France and ranks among the ten most frequented facilities in the Rhône department.

The renovation of its immersive room at the end of 2017 and the change of astronomical simulator (25 million pixels, 8K projectors) make it one of the most technologically advanced planetariums.
The Planetarium is adapted to host your seminar near Lyon thanks to its different types of modular spaces that best suit your needs: team building, Christmas tree, cocktail party, conference, product presentation…
Find unique spaces in the region: the Planetarium room with its 15-meter diameter dome screen, 900 m² of exhibition space on astronomy, astrophysics, space exploration and an observatory with two telescopes to admire the sun or the starry sky live!
All the rooms are accessible to people with reduced mobility.
