Who are we ?

Séminaires Business Events is a leading player in the business tourism and events sector in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and, more broadly, across France.

Since launching its first trade fair in 2004, Yves and his multi-skilled team have been providing networking opportunities and B2B services for event organisers and business tourism professionals.

Our history in key dates

 

2003 - 2004

First SBE trade fair in Lyon

A pioneer in the region, Yves Rioton launched the first trade fair dedicated to professional event organisers in February 2004. This event was accompanied by the first edition of the print guide and its online version.

2011

First workshops

In response to growing demand, Séminaires Business Events is expanding its range of services and launching workshops, after-work events and educational tours. With their smaller, more focused format, these events enable event organisers to engage in more informal and private discussions with key players in the business tourism sector and to fully explore the destination.

2019

white-label events & a strengthened multidisciplinary SBE team

In 2019, we’re expanding our offering with white-label events!
And to support this growth, new staff members with a wide range of skills are joining Séminaires Business Events.

SBE is celebrating its 20th anniversary!

Today, we’re celebrating our 20th anniversary! Following the success of the 20th Lyon trade fair after a difficult period (Covid), we invite you to explore our new website and join us in celebrating this wonderful year, which will be filled with plenty of events that you can enjoy by joining the SBE Club!
